Q. What’s your name?

A. Tanya Townley.

Q. Where do you live?

A. I currently live in the North West of England, but will be relocating to the South next year.

Q. How old are you?

A. I’m 21.

Q. What’s your job?

I’m studying my final year of an English and Creative Writing degree at University with view to becoming a fashion writer. I’m an alternative model and am represented by Dark Arts Model Agency and I also run a small clothing company called Bad to the Bone Clothing in my spare time.

Q. Can I add you on Facebook?

A. I feel bad for not accepting requests but I’ve decided to keep it personal for now. Please feel free to ‘like’ my modelling page though: http://www.facebook.com/TanyaTownleyAltModel

Q. What’s the name of your layout?

A. It’s called ‘Heart in a Cage’ by Fusels. I think you can find it here: http://fusels.tumblr.com.

Q. Do you have a link to your background image?

A. Sure, here you go: http://tinypic.com/r/dos16p/5.

Q. Which pink hair dye do you use?

A. Special Effects ‘Cupcake Pink’, heavily diluted to make it pale.

Q. How do you dilute your dye?

A. I dilute it either with conditioner or with water. To dilute with conditioner I mix maybe half a teaspoon of dye with roughly twenty of a regular hair conditioner, although it varies depending on how light a pink I want. More often than not I dilute the dye with water as it’s a lot less hassle. I’ll dissolve a tablespoon of dye in a cup of near-boiling water, then pour the water in to a sink of cooler water before rinsing my freshly bleached hair in the water.

Q. Do you bleach your hair before you dye it pink?

A. Yes, I use a box bleach on my roots every three weeks or so. I use Jerome Russell’s ‘Powder Bleach’.

Q. Which extensions do you use?

A. 200g (two packs) of human hair wefts by SHF Purple Desire in the lightest blonde (shade #613). I usually get the 22” ones and will then sew clips on and dye them using dye diluted in water.

Q. Do you have a hair care routine?

A. Not specifically. I try to use heat protection before styling and will use a deep conditioning mask like Aussie’s ‘Three Minute Miracle Intensive Conditioner’ every couple of weeks.

Q. How do you get your hair so big?

A. There’s really not much to it - just very thorough back-combing and a lot of hairspray.

Q. Which products do you use on a daily basis?

A. Here goes…

- Concealer: MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15.

- Foundation: MAC Studio Sculpt SPF Foundation in NC15.

- Powder: Chanel Natural Finish Pressed Powder in Translucent .

- Blusher: Bourjois Blush in #74 Rose Ambre.

- Mascara: MAC Opulash Mascara.

- Kohl Eyeliner: Bourjois Blanc et Noir Eyeliner.

- Black Eyeshadow (used to ‘set’ the Kohl): Sugarpill Eyeshadow in ‘Bulletproof’.

- Liquid Eyeliner: No7 Amazing Eyes Liquid Eyeliner.

- False Eyelashes: Ardell #118 or Marliss #160.

- Eyelash Glue: Eyelure Lashfix Adhesive.

- Lipsticks: Illamasqua ‘Corrupt’, MAC ‘Snob’, MAC ‘Saint Germain’, Lime Crime ‘Styletto’.

- Eye Shadow: MAC ‘6 Dashing Lassie Eye Shadows’.

Q. Do you have a skincare routine?

A. Again, I don’t stick to a strict regime or anything because my skin is pretty good to begin with but I do try to keep it moisturised and I like to exfoliate every now and then. I have quite dry skin so I use Clinique’s Moisture Surge daily and exfoliate with Clinique’s Seven Day Scrub every week or so. I’m a bit of a sucker for The Body Shop’s Body Butter’s - Shea Butter and Coconut smell amazing!

Q. Which perfume do you wear?

A. My favourite’s are Vivienne Westwood’s ‘Naughty Alice’ and Dior’s ‘Miss Dior Cherie’. Also, Boots’ Natural Collection have a Vanilla Body Spray which is really cheap and smells wonderful.

Q. What are some of your favourite online shops?

A. I’ll list online shops that I like, although please bear in mind I haven’t shopped at all of the shops I’m about to list. Other than these I mostly shop on Ebay and at ASOS. In no particular order:
